Role within the Suite
The Launcher is the shared infrastructure layer of the DEPRODATA Suite. It coordinates access to packages and their execution environment, allowing analytical applications to be managed through a common desktop entry point.
It is separate from the PER, MAT, PHY and TEA application families. The Launcher is neither a DDA nor an application family.
Common functions
- Controlled runtime access for DDAs.
- Access to technical documentation and user guides.
- Package visibility and runtime diagnostics.
- Structured delivery of public or signed applications.
Relationship with DDAs
The Launcher loads, manages and launches applications. Individual DDAs contain the domain-specific analytical methods and workflows. This separation lets applications evolve independently while sharing runtime coordination and access to supporting materials.
Explore the application families to find the analytical functionality provided by each DDA.
Packages and runtime
DEPRODATA Application Packages (.dpa) contain applications and their associated metadata and resources. The Launcher provides the common runtime and package-access infrastructure; package identity remains distinct from the analytical application itself.
Public and signed applications may have different access requirements. Refer to the notices accompanying the specific artifact for its conditions of use.
Documentation and support
See Documentation & Guides for available guidance and publication status, or contact the project with technical enquiries.
Distribution
Launcher distribution information is maintained in Downloads, separately from this product overview. Version, platform and release details will accompany verified download records.
Software record and citation
The Launcher has a citable infrastructure record, separate from the records for individual analytical applications.
